Future 8th Grader’s

Dear future 8th graders ,

Your 8th-grade year can be fun, complicated, and tiring. Your 8th-grade year is also your last year in middle school. In 8th grade you will be given fun, challenging, and academic assignments.

1)  Debates.  In 8th grade, Mrs. Hildebrand will most likely assign a topic to debate about. She divides the class into teams. The teams are also divided by who presents what. The debates are fun but challenging.

2)  Changemaker Presentations.  Throughout the year, Mrs. Hildebrand will give you a topic to present in class. Those topics can range from goals to improving a habit and goal for 2018-2019. There’s a total of at least 6 slides. This project can be in groups or by yourself.

3)  Fashion Show.  The fashion show allows not only creative minds but collaborative skills. This project is fun but is also challenging and academic. You would use descriptive writing as a part of this assignment. This gets the academic side of you to work. The colorful and decorative designs gets the creative side.

8th-grade has a lot in store for you next year. 8th grade can be challenging, fun, and academic if all your effort is put in it. Have a good year!

Sincerely, Jorge.

It’s midnight and Jaxon heard glass breaking. He called Xavier. Xavier said it’s the old tribes statues. Jaxon said the wasn’t the time for jokes. Then , the next day , ” The head of 14 year old Jaxon Hastings was found in the woods.”
